Hello internet users! I'm Epix and here's my personal website where I share my artworks. I also like rambling on and on about media, especially yugioh and south park as of late. I made my own website because I've been in love with the idea of the indie web and I would love to have a place of my own where I don't have to compete with other posts or think I'm too weird for talking too much or too obsessively and I don't have to worry about any algorithms. Also coding is fun, (except when it isn't).

I might get a little venty here so heads up for that, nothing too major to warrant a trigger warning (though I'll add one if need be)

If you don't like what you see then you can kindly leave! This is a dictatorship MUAAHAHAHAA (jk but this is my space okay? if you wanna be a jerk then go to twitter where all the jerks are and have a jerk-off together.)

Might make a full blog post of this but I'm just gonna quickly cover it here first. With what everything Trump has been saying, it sucks to be a Somali living in Minnesota right now. Even though I was born here, I have to carry around a photocopy of my birth certificate in hopes that it'll be enough to get the military or ICE or whatever off my back. Thankfully, I haven't encountered any officers but I know family members who have, as well as incidents months ago similar to this. It's frustrating because I didn't choose to be Somali and yet I'm being thought of as a criminal or an illegal because of that. I'm still glad I'm in America but idk, I just wanted to get this out, I guess to show how this is actually affecting people. I don't know, I'm just going to pray for things to get better.

Wow, it's been awhile since I've touched this website. Don't worry, I don't plan on abandoning this site anytime soon, I'm bursting with ideas! I'm not sure why but I feel overwhelmed. I moved to a new apartment sorta recently and I'm going through the college application process, (which I'll hopefully be attending in January inshallah, because I did miss the fall semester deadline lol.) But I don't really do much all day long, I feel like I should be able to decompress? IDK.

I kinda feel bad about my latest blogpost, I gave my country a bad rep when it already has one thanks to the media. Not saying that I lied, everything is true and I never want to go back, but idk it's not the worst place ever. Also a lot of my problems stemmed from the Somali-British people there, the locals were fine, even though I could barely speak to them.

Ordered Sonic Heroes for my Xbox 360 (backwards compatible), and it should come in the morning! Super excited to play this game for the first time ever! Thinking of making a section for game and show reviews, as well as media analyses.

This site is coded on my 1366 x 768 laptop screen FYI, and sometimes i test it on my computer when i feel like it. So keep that in mind while using the site. And this should go without saying but this site is not for mobile devices... sors.

Also if you couldn't tell already, this site is a massive WIP. I'm still figuring out everything and some pages aren't up yet, so stay tuned!
